What is Dutch Bros?

In the United States, Dutch Bros is a popular coffee chain. It’s very popular. In fact, so many people feel so strongly about their choice, that many people consider themselves team Dutch Bros or team Starbucks and will get very defensive about which one they choose. It was started back in 1992. The chain is also known for helping the community and giving back to underserved people, in addition to making tasty beverages. The coffee, energy drinks, and so many other fun beverages are sold on the chain.

What Makes Dutch Bros Different?

Like other major coffee chains, Dutch Bros offers tasty, caffeinated beverages. Despite this, they have some unique features as well. The coffees are very customizable and the service is extremely fast. Besides coffee, the chain offers sodas, lemonade, tea, and so on. One difference many other chains lack is that Dutch Bros locations do not have indoor seating. The last big difference between Dutch Bros and the rest of the competition is the prices. Where Are Dutch Bros Restaurants Located Now?

Many restaurants that began in the state of Oregon include Dutch Bros. What started off with a small stand have turned into many other states across the nation. Most of the Dutch Bros are located in the West, namely California, Idaho, and Arizona. But the chain has grown over time and now you can find restaurants in Texas, Georgia and Florida. If you don’t have a Dutch Bros restaurant in driving distance right now, you just have to wait, the chain is continuing to grow. In the coming years, the company hopes to grow to more than 4,000 locations.

Arizona

Two new Dutch Bros locations are in Arizona. The two locations are 9965 W. Van Buren St. in Tolleson and 9145 N. 91st Ave. in Peoria. Currently, Dutch Bros has a large store population in Arizona. In actuality, they intend to transfer 40% of their support staff to Arizona. Therefore, the people of the state are really lucky.

Colorado

Dutch Bros has opened many locations in Colorado right now. The most recent one is at 1826 S. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs. If you live in Colorado Springs, this means that company has 11 stores in that town alone.

Florida

The coffee giant has been expanding rather quickly in Florida and new locations have opened up in 2024. There are no signs of stopping, as there will be several new locations in 2025. Davenport, Orlando, Clermont, Winter Park, St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Jacksonville are the newest locations.

California

Five new Dutch Bros locations will be open in California by the end of 2025. Newest stores are located in Escondido and La Habra. There are also two in Vista. One will not be open at least until the end of the year. The date is yet to be confirmed, but there will also be a new location in Laguna Hills, probably in 2025.

Kansas

Lately the company has been making a big appearance in Kansas. One more location will come to the town of Lawrence. It will now make 13 locations in the state. The newest site is at 2531 Iowa St.

Missouri

A new Dutch Bros location was reported to be coming to St. Louis in 2024. At this point the information has not been verified. But real estate company Noble Properties has a listing for what will become a Dutch Bros Coffee at 982 Bryan Road in O’Fallon, Missouri. According to word, the city council has voted and approved the construction of the coffee company there. However, the future will reveal what happens.

Texas

In The Lone Star State, there are already quite a few Dutch Bros restaurants, including San Antonio and surrounding communities. Austin will be the newest location. The new restaurant will be the third in the town and it will be located at 1910 W. Ben White Blvd., where the old Long John Silver’s once stood.

Texas-Seguin Location

The city of Seguin has long been rumored to have another Dutch Bros location. According to the exact location, it is 2555 N. Highway 123 Bypass. That may be subject to change though; believe it when you see it.

Texas-New Braunfels Location

One of the newest Dutch Bros opened last year and is located at 934 Hwy. 46 W. in New Braunfels. This was an exciting development of the people of the area. It’s the second restaurant in the town.

Big-Time Expansion

Big plans exist with the Dutch Bros coffee company. The plan is to grow to many states and to over 4000 locations. At the end of the third quarter of 2024, the company had opened 950 new restaurants in 18 states and there are no signs of this stopping. The restaurants are all so small that part of the reason the company is able to expand as much as it is. They have the square footage of a studio apartment. What they need then are a building and a parking lot and pretty much they can go anywhere.

What Happens Next?

Is 2025 and beyond the reality? More expansion! In a recent earnings call, the company says that it is expecting to open at least 160 new locations in 2025 and 2026. Things are moving along well, said the CEO, and he said the pipeline is strong.

Food is in the Future?

The Dutch Bros CEO has also announced that they have been testing food sales in a number of the restaurants. The food options could ultimately go national if they go well. I cannot even imagine, getting the donut or the pasty with my coffee! Last year, the company made hundreds of millions of dollars, so there is no limit to the sky.
